Nicholas Norton Doing Charity Walk in Morocco For Russells Hall Hospital.

June 2009

Nicholas and son Nick with a group of climbers raised a total of £ 5000 for the Birmingham Childrens Hospital, the challenge which took place back in Sept 2007 consisted of walking and climbing through Snowden Wales, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis. The total metres walked across all three peaks was 3,407 metres.

Boro' Foundrys Operations Director Nick Norton is taking part in a climb to the top of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. This is all in aid to purchase a new ventilator to help patients who have neuro-muscular disorders and who are unable to take deep breaths or cough effectively to breath. It will also help patients who have chronic chest problems.

We hope to raise £15000.00 for the new ventilator which we feel will be of a huge benefit to Russells Hall Hospital!

We are flying out on the 12th June 2009 to complete this trek and reaching the £15000.00 target will be as good as reaching the summit!!

Please help us to reach our target by donating whatever you can!

On behalf of Dudley Group Of Hospitals Charity we thank you for your support!

If you would like further information on this appeal please dont hesitate to e-mail us on atlas.trek@hotmail.com.
